Admittedly, L’Officiel doesn’t attract our attention all that much here on theFashionSpot. Nevertheless, the AMTD Idea-owned fashion publication has attracted our attention more so than ever, over recent months. Back in September, the magazine had none other than Nicole Kidman as their global cover star, who was spread across an array of editions from the French to the Hong Kongese edition of L’Officiel. Gracing the cover of L’Officiel for November 2024 is Salma Hayek Pinault. The Mexican actress, film producer, and wife of Kering CEO François-Henri Pinault, poses before the lens of photographer Charlie Gray. Complete with styling from Gaia Fraschini, Hayek Pinault gazes down Gray’s lens sporting a top from Intimissimi and dripping in jewelry from the Kering-owned French luxury jewelry and watch house Boucheron.

“A fashion girl Salma Hayek Pinault is not. I don’t care who she married. An actress- yes, iconic. A fashion girl? No,” stated forum member jeremydante.
URIAH was in complete agreement. “I hate that I agree with you,” they replied. “I would say it’s because Salma Hayek is so petite at 5’2”, but magazines manage to make Kylie Minogue work and she’s 2 inches shorter. Strange, because she is very beautiful and photogenic…and has connections and resources. Therefore, I have to assume this is what she wanted.”
Yet not everyone shared the same sentiments. “Not sure anything will ever compare to Salma Hayek on Vogue Arabia but I don’t hate this. I’m a fan of the dark background and the beauty styling. Salma looks undeniably beautiful here, I love that shot of Hayek in the mustard dress,” admired vogue28.
“Hayek Pinault looks beautiful in every photograph. The hair, makeup, and styling suit her so well. I love the colors and mood. It is hard to pick a favorite photo but the one of Hayek in leopard print is striking. Gray and the team did a successful job,” MModa applauded.
