We are forced to endure Chioma Nnadi as British Vogue‘s head of editorial content for another month. To say we’ve been underwhelmed by Nnadi heading up the British fashion bible would be an understatement. Covers starring A-list talent (including everyone from Zendaya to Sophie Turner and Kylier Jenner to Tyla) have flopped. Up next on the cover of British Vogue for May 2025 is Billie Eilish. Four years after Edward Enninful gave the American musician a Vogue makeover, Billie is back on the cover of the magazine and poses for Johnny Dufort across a twosome of covers. Captured on location within the Californian wilderness, Taylor McNeill styled the Grammy Award-winning artist. Billie sports a mashup of Willy Chavarria, Chanel, Martine Rose, A Bathing Ape, and Erl within the two Johnny Dufort-shot cover images.

“Horrible, cheap, and amateurish. The cover with the giant leg looks like something trying to emulate Tim Walker. Obviously, unsuccessfully,” critiqued DK92.
“How low can it go?” asked prylvi.
“The current team has no clue what makes a successful magazine cover, and these are proof,” chimed in forum member MModa.
Kite most definitely wasn’t a fan either. “Beyond awful,” they described upon checking out the covers.
“Rancid. Nothing was ever going to compare to the hype of the June 2021 cover. Here, the team didn’t even attempt to create something… decent. What an absolute eyesore. The styling is abysmal, and the photography from Johnny Dufort is hideous (unsurprisingly),” voiced vogue28.
“I have tried to find something to appreciate but I just can’t get into it. I can’t believe this is for Vogue,” added Kenny.
