The actor created her own fashion moment on the red carpet as she wore a backless Balenciaga gown, which she paired with opera gloves. The ensemble’s intricate features were enough to make her one of the best-dressed celebrities. Opting for minimal accessories, Kidman ensured that her gown and the gloves would catch the eye of fashion enthusiasts.

For her 2024 Annual Academy Museum Gala look, Nicole Kidman chose a sensational Balenciaga gown. While at one glance the dress might look elegant, the Oscar winner also brought drama with the outfit’s sultry back. The backless gown featured a plunging neckline and a statement bow at the waist. Kidman paired the gown with matching opera gloves, covering her upper arm to her fingers.
Keeping her ensemble in the spotlight, Kidman wore an over-the-glove watch. She accessorized her look with simple yet elegant earrings and pulled her golden blonde hair back into a low ponytail. The actor let a few tresses in the front so as to accentuate her jawline. For makeup, she opted for arched eyebrows, matte lipstick, and a generous amount of blush to add a graceful touch to her look.
Kidman, who joined Balenciaga as a brand ambassador in December 2023, took her fondness for the Spanish luxury fashion house over to Instagram to show the gala outfit. Earlier this month, the actor sported another all-black Balenciaga ensemble at Paris Fashion Week. This dress featured several similar elements to her Annual Academy Museum Gala look. The Paris Fashion Week outfit boasted glove-like long sleeves and an over-the-sleeve wristwatch. The midi dress also had two ribbon-like embellishments at the back.
