Here at theFashionSpot, we will always and forever celebrate the sight of new magazines coming into the world of print. As reported in June, the Berlin-based biannual fashion title was the launch Dust Magazine China and the first issue is here. Dust Magazine China editor-in-chief Wish Gui secured none other than supermodel sensation Linda Evangelista as cover star for Issue #1 for October 2024. The icon of fashion is reunited with Luigi & Iango for the occasion, and is splashed across two dynamic black and white covers. In cover one (below), Evaneglista (who was recently awarded the Vanguard Award at the 11tth Annual Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards) serves face while on cover two strikes a pose wearing Rick Owens, as selected by cover shoot stylist Elanur Erdogan.

Not everyone, however, was so impressed. “Linda is way too airbrushed. She looks her age despite all the airbrushing. Also, the hats look terrible on her,” voiced MModa.
