Recent photos showed Mariah Carey nailing Santa-coded outfits in Aspen, which are as trendy as her classic Christmas songs this holiday season. On Saturday, the “All I Want For Christmas Is You” singer sported a red and white knitted attire that might be the toughest outfit to match. Wearing this look, she put a festive display on the streets and stopped by a store for enough time to create a captivating experience for onlookers. While in the ski resort town, she underwent multiple outfit changes, including a much more casual dress with a red puffer jacket and a glamorous all-Gucci ensemble that same day.
Mariah Carey goes shopping in a red dress in Aspen
This time of the year is undoubtedly Mariah Carey’s time to shine, and she rightly proved so by wearing a chic red dress while shopping in Aspen, Colorado. She opted for a cozy-looking knitted sweater dress with mutton sleeves for an outing in the ski resort town. Carey’s outfit also consisted of dramatically upturned collars and a plunging neckline. WWD reported that she combined the look with a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti knee-high heeled boots with a slouchy design and shearling trim. The 55-year-old also wore white Chanel gloves and a matching beanie and flaunted her rectangular sunglasses as well as the diamond necklace.
In photos, the Grammy winner appeared all smiles as she walked out of the store looking as glam as ever. Later, Backgrid shared more stills in an Instagram post from her evening in Aspen as she headed to dinner. Carey was clearly all about shopping and making stunning public appearances as she wore an almost similar attire for a lavish shopping run in Ralph Lauren and dinner afterward. She wore what appeared to be a noticeably casual winter dress and layered it with a festive-looking red puffer jacket. In addition, the musician added opaque tights and knee-high boots to beat the winter chills, wore another pair of dapper glasses, and styled her hair into a messy bun.
Photos from another outing in Aspen showed Mariah Carey hitting up a Gucci store top to bottom wearing clothing from the luxury fashion house. PEOPLE reported that her ensemble, a chunky rib wool tank minidress layered with a chunky rib wool cardigan, comprised glittery detailing. Carey paired the look with shimmery, see-through stockings and the same boots from the initial outfit.
